Nettle ( कंडाली , बिच्छू घास , सिशौण ) is a herbaceous plant which grows in the wild ( in mountains ) which has jagged leaves covered with stinging hairs . Its leaves have stinging hair , which cause painful stings when touched accidentally . This is due to the methanoic acid ( formic acid – CHOOH ) secreted by them . To get relief from pain either apply baking soda’s paste or rub the area with the leaf of the dock plant which often grows beside the nettle in the wild as a traditional remedy . source
