Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grappler Fernando Diaz sits down with David & Erick to talk about his recent move to Austin, TX. Fernan moved from his home of Puerto Rico after 35-years to continue training with Gordon Ryan, John Danaher and many other great grapplers under New Wave Jiu-Jitsu. We chatted with him about how he met Gordon & John during COVID in Puerto Rico until they decided to move to Austin, and wanted Fernan to come as well. Fernan tells us stories from their initial meetings to where they are now, and the intense regime it takes to train amongst some of the best no-gi grapplers in the world.
