Former President Bill Clinton and CNN Health Expert Dr. Sanjay Gupta acknowledged cannabidiol (canna-buh-dye-all) (CBD) and its ability to “combat pain” in Orlando at the Impact Forum.
Clinton mentioned at the event that he heard about those who have used low-THC cannabis products to help with pain management.
President Clinton said, “NYU Langone does some of this testing and CBD could be a viable outlet for pain relief. We could potentially not lose so many people.”
The story was taken down from ‘Cannabis & Tech Today’ after the media organization purportedly faced pressure from Clinton’s public relations team, although has since been republished.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta said “I’ve done six documentaries on the subject and I wasn’t a believer before, but I am now,” according to Cannabis & Tech Today. “I’ve worked on this for so long that I know not only can it work, sometimes it’s the only thing that works for some of these conditions.”
