TURN ON CAPTIONS FOR TRANSLATION – We were in the jungle, hanging out with monkeys, trees and some sadhu friends that we made. I’ve known a couple of these guys for awhile now and know that they are very real and raw people- but also have a very serious and tangible connection with some deep meditation practices. They have heard so many stories of Westerners using drugs as a method of meditation. Sadhus aren’t unfamiliar to these things, as sometimes ganja and opium are used in their ceremonies. Someone nearby had LSD and the Sadhus were interested in trying. I asked if I could film the experience unfolding and they said yes! Here’s the trip journey of a Hindu Monk.
