2/5/2022 [Broward County, FL] 12:30 AM
After observing a driver reckless driving, police conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle at 12:30 AM. Upon making contact, the driver immediately began to question the reason for the traffic stop. During this incident, the driver did not act in a compliant manner. On the way to the jail, the driver began complaining about having issues breathing, saying the police were not giving him enough AC. The driver’s best idea in the moment was to pretend to be having a heart attack, which involved making “labored breathing” noises and falling onto the pavement, needing the officers support to move. This incident could have ended with a simple reckless driving ticket, but instead ended a lot worse for the driver.
Turn the car off, hands on the wheel, and be respectful. Simple.
