#CBD and #cannabis products are increasing with popularity due to claims of powerful #antiinflammatory, #anticancer and #antianxiety effects. However, although there is some research backing the #antiinflammatory effects of #cannabidol acids, there is even more research suggesting pro-flammatory effects. This is likely because cannabis, like hops, is a potent #phytoestrogenic, and estrogen through increasing serotonin and other mechanisms can actually cause inflammation. Not to mention that the #polyunsaturated fat structure of hemp can also increase the synthesis of the inflammatory #prostaglandins.
Other research has proven that cannabis is a potent #antiandrogen and can lower both #DHT and #testosterone, while increasing #estrogen and #serotonin.
This video aims to objectively review and weigh the benefits to negative effects of CBD and cannabis, as well as provide tips for safe supplementation.
