Welcome to the Mothership! Today we are making some pub food and smoking up breaded chicken thighs with our very own honey mustard. Throwing it together with some bacon, and we have a Honey Mustard Chicken BLT that I could eat almost every day!
Ingredients:
Chicken thighs (I used bone-in and skin on)
Tomato
Lettuce
Kings Hawaiian Buns
Cheddar Cheese
Milk Wash:
2 Cups Milk
1 Egg
1 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
Appx 2 Tbsp Siracha
Flour Mix:
1.5 Cups All purpose White Flour
2 Tsp Lawrys
1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt
1 Tsp Onion Powder
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
Honey Mustard:
1/4 Cup Mayo
2 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Mustard (Dijon)
1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 Tsp Cheyenne Pepper
Pellets Used:
50% Knotty Wood Almond (wine cask)
50% Bear Mountain Maple
