Hello! In this review I’ll be going over some Bear Slap #1 live resin from Teal Cannabis!
So, Bear Slap #1, from everything I could find, is from the Amaze Cannabis Bear Slap pheno hunt collection! This particular strain ended up being named Strudelberry, so you may find it under both titles. This batch has a total Cannabinoid of 84% with total THC at 70% and total CBD at .15%, which obviously leaves room for some other Cannabinoids to be present, I wish I knew! Anyway, the Terpenes are at 4.9% with b-Caryophyllene first at 1.9% and d-Limonene second at 1.2% followed by Nerolidol-2, a-Humulene, b-Myrcene, Linalool, b-Pinene, a-Pinene, Terpinolene, Camphene, Ocimene-2, Terpinene, Isopulegol, and Guaiol.
The scent on this one comes across as like a spiced fruit. Very peppery, herbal, and sweet citrus gives it an almost Strawberry like smell. The flavor is quite dynamic. At a good, medium range temp, you’ll find the inhale to have a light fruitiness much like the smell which is followed by a chocolatey and baked good flavored exhale. A nice scent and flavor profile but it is rather mellow and mild, so I did dock the score based on that.
Now, as far as effects go. They have it listed as an, “Indica,” suggesting it’s a relaxing and potentially sedative strain. I had a pretty spot on experience with it. The head high is very mellow and relaxed, not too spacey but it does have a gentle uplift to it. Really helped regulate mood and anxiety quite well. The body high is also quite relaxing yet it does not quite make it to the melty type feel. It’s calm and collected, much like the mental side of things. Perfect if you’re looking for something relaxing but not too heavy or intense. It worked very well for pain relief, from inflammation to nerve pain and muscle spasms. I didn’t have a flare up of anything while medicating with this. All in all, very solid effects. I just happen to prefer a little heavier of a body high for the relaxation.
So, there you have it, Bear Slap #1! I’d personally recommend this for people who want to explore more relaxing strains but want something not so heavy. A little on the mild side. But in a lot of very good ways.
