Welcome to the second episode of the Infusion Series. Today we are doing it a little differently, making Cannabutter in the Crockpot. Crockpots should come with this “How To” in the owners manual. But no need for that because T.H.Creations is here to help! Follow along as this recipe yields you with a whole pound of potent Marijuana infused butter for your next recipe.
For this you will need:
28 grams of Cannabis
1 pound of butter (2 cups)
A CrockPot
-Find a quality Crockpot that heats up to the correct temperature, and has a timer here https://amzn.to/2WsTQv2
First, grind or hand bust up your Cannabis into small pieces and put it into a baking sheet. Wrap it in tinfoil, and toss it in the oven at 235F (115C) for 25 minutes. This will decarboxylate the weed, and activate the THC. After pulling it out of the oven, let it cool for 20 minutes. Preheat the Crockpot and liquify the butter.
Add the decarboxylated Cannabis into the liquified butter, on the LOW setting on the crockpot. Set the timer for 8 hours, and stir every 20 minutes.
Now that the 8 hours has passed it is time to allow the butter to cool to room temperature. Strain it through the cheesecloth into a glass dish, NO PLASTIC. Remove the cheesecloth, and squeeze as much of the infusion as you can out of it.
-It can be found at most department stores. But if needed find quality, all natural Cheesecloth here https://amzn.to/34iVMZO
-If you do not have any glass dishes, these are cheap and perfect for your infusions https://amzn.to/2WyFDNs
Now that the infusion is complete, put it in the fridge to solidify or use it right away in your next recipe.
