As someone who is a huge advocate for the plant, I think it’s important to bring other sides and perspectives onto my page for a 360 view of weed.
Contrary to popular belief (by popular I mean the mean comments on my videos) I’m not here to promote consumption. I’m simply here to educate on factors we simply were not taught a few years ago when it came to cannabis.
After all, I’m a big believer in education being power.
On that note, I think it’s important to discuss some scenarios where you simply should not be consuming the plant. The plant is not for everyone and it’s important to understand that there are risks associated, like with EVERYTHING in life.
🔞 If you’re not an adult, consuming the plant can harm your developing brain and overall health. Our brains continue to develop until we hit age 25!
💭 If you have a history or risk of psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder, weed may exacerbate these conditions.
🤝 If you are being peer pressured, consuming cannabis may lead to choices that aren’t in your best interest.
✖️ If you don’t understand the risks associated with weed use, you may put yourself in harm without realizing it.
As always, remember that the plant is simply a tool in your life that should be used strategically and mindfully, with a purpose. Now I’m not sitting on a high horse saying this, because I definitely did not approach the plant in this way when I was younger. I’m grateful that I learned a lot throughout the past decade, but this is the advice I’d give to my younger self.
