Southern Style Collard Greens Recipe
For the homemade broth:
* 1 pound smoked turkey necks
* 64 oz chicken or vegetable broth
* 1 sweet Vidalia onion, halved
* 5 cloves garlic, peeled
* Season generously to taste with chicken bouillon (or Maggi seasoning), garlic powder, onion powder, creole seasoning and brown sugar – I don’t measure sorry
* For the Greens:
* 2-3 lb of fresh collard greens, thoroughly cleaned with stems removed, cut into thin ribbons. Can also use mustard, turnip or kale greens
