Hello!! Today’s review is over Triple Burger shatter by @farmerg_missouri that I picked up during @easymountainco ‘s Green Wednesday Sale.
Triple Burger is a cross of GMO x Double Burger by @skunkhousegenetics ! This batch has a total Cannabinoid of 88.6% with the total THC testing at 72.44%, total CBD at .16%, total CBDv at .13%, total CBG at 3.26%, total CBC at 1.32%, and a total THCv at .5%. The Terpenes test out to 3.37% with b-Caryophyllene dominating at 1.54%, followed by a-Humulene at .67%, Nerolidol 2 at .47%, d-Limonene at .37%, and b-Pinene at .11% to make up the top five and most significant Terpenes. There were also a fair amount of streaks and bubbles in this one, too.
The smell and flavor on this one are going to be VERY polarizing. It has a very garlic and musky smell with some very burnt notes. The flavor is garlicy and sour and musky and just very pungent and a bit difficult to enjoy. Almost like licking a greasy, used, flat top griddle. And it has a burnt aftertaste similar to the smell. I likely wouldn’t buy this shatter again because of this but I’d be curious to try it in different forms.
The effects are actually really nice on this one. The euphoric side of things is predominantly relaxing with a nice uplift to it. Not quite sedative but definitely something that I’d mostly use in the evening to night time. The body high, however, is quite melty and tingly feeling. Other users express feeling a numbness, even. It worked well for pain relief of all varieties, helped with mood regulation and overall mental health, and actually did stimulate my appetite a good bit. I think these nice body effects are mostly coming from the range of Cannabinoids. CBG probably plays into some of the uplifting mental effects but otherwise, that range of Cannabinoids is really helping push the body effects further. Which is unfortunate because the flavor is quite meh.
Anyway, that’s that! Thanks for reading along! Probably won’t be getting their Triple Burger again but their shatter is pretty decent overall. I’ll likely try different strains in the future.
