I commonly get asked about tolerance breaks and whether I take them, how long, and how I do it.
Yes, I take them every few days, and I do longer 2-week breaks every few months. How do I do it? I just do. I personally don’t struggle with it and I think it’s because I don’t consume daily and when I do, it’s generally a low dose. Nonetheless, here are some tips for those who may be struggling:
✅ decrease consumption by 10% daily leading into your break
✅ journal during your break, promotes mindfulness
✅ avoid consuming daily to reduce building high tolerance (this may not be applicable to all individuals as some may require daily consumption for medical reasons)
