Ingredients
1 – Spiral Cut Ham
1 – Aluminum Pan
3-4 – Chunks of Cherry Wood
Two Part Glaze
1 – Bottle of your favorite BBQ Sauce
1 – Jar of jalapeno jelly
Bluff City Dry Rub
½ cup brown sugar,
½ cup paprika
2 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp garlic powder
2 Tbsp onion powder
1 Tbsp sugar
Instructions
– Mix dry ingredients together for Bluff City Rub and set aside.
– Setup Weber grill for an indirect cook and pre heat to 275F
Add Cherry Wood
– Remove Spiral Cut Ham from wrapping
– Place Spiral Cut Ham into the Aluminum Pan
– Pat Ham Dry using paper towels
– Season all sides of the Ham with Bluff City Rub
– Place Ham face down in the pan with skin side up
– Place Ham and Pan on Weber Kettle opposite side of the heat
– Cook for ~ 1hour
While the ham is warming up prepare the two part glaze.
– Add 1 part (1 cup) BBQ sauce to a small pot
– Add 1 part (1 cup) pepper jelly to pot
– Simer for ~30 min or until all ingredients are combined
– After ~ 1 hour lightly season the ham with Bluff City Rub.
– Baste Spiral cut ham with juices from the aluminum pan
– Rotate ham half way around to ensure an even cook
– Cover and Cook until ham reaches an internal temp of 145F-150F (~ 2 hours)
– Add two part glaze to ham
– Cover and cook for another 20 min to set the glaze.
