I get a lot of questions asking how often I consume, and what time of the day do I consume? What do I consume? It’s hard for me to give a direct answer because every day every week every month can be different. I try to be in tune with my body and be mindful before choosing a consumption practice on a given day. In general, I consume 3 to 4 times a week but recently it’s been 5 to 6 times because I’ve been using it more for sleep support in the past few months (I’ve been having a hard time calming my mind at night because I’m a bit overwhelmed with work lately).
I find that it also depends on my mood, my cycle, and my environment there are so many different factors that come into affect my consumption patterns. Personally, I think it’s important for me to take breaks whenever I don’t need the plant because I don’t want to develop a high tolerance, and I want to make sure that I maintain a healthy relationship with the plant and continue to use it as a tool in my life.
Long story short everyone’s consumption pattern looks different and that’s totally OK 👌🏻 We’re all different humans with different bodies and that what makes our individual relationship with the plant so special 💚
