Did you know plant compounds in mullein are known to have antitussive (cough-reducing) and expectorant (mucus-thinning) properties? Mullein has been used traditionally as a remedy for the respiratory tract, including bronchitis, and coughs.
I started taking mullein this year after smoking weed as an extra way to protect my lungs. Even though I don’t smoke often, I still like to have mullein as an extra precaution. Mullein tinctures is my go to way to consume (it is pretty bitter so I dilute it with a splash of water) or you can also brew mullein tea leaves. It doesn’t taste amazing, definitely a very herbal and earthy like taste. A lot of you have also started incorporating mullein after you saw it on my stories and said you noticed a difference which is great 🫶🏻
