I’d be lying if I said I have this whole creator thing figured out. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit inside me and I knew for a long time that I did not want to work corporate or work for someone else for the rest of my life.
The past few years was a test run for me to see if I can actually turn Cannabinista into a career. I prepared myself not only mentally, but also ensuring that I have enough financial cushion to fall back on if things don’t work out. But call me crazy or delusional, I know this will work out. I’m dedicated to putting in the work, to growing this community, to building my brand. Part of it is a lot of manifesting, but alot of it is also the countless hours I’ve put into growing cannabinista to where it is today (but heck I got a long journey ahead!)
I’m a pretty risk adverse person, so this leap is definitely one of the biggest decisions I’ve made in my life thus far. If you’re reading this and you’re also thinking about working for yourself or going into content full time, just know that all the back and forth thoughts you have are valid and you’re not alone. It’s a scary journey being your own boss; but also liberating in so many ways.
