Hello! Happy Monday! Hope your day is going well. Today I’ll be going over some Jasmine Thai cured sugar coming from Elevate that I picked up from Easy Mountain!
Jasmine Thai is a cross of Durban Thai x Cindy 99. This batch has about 66.40% total THC with some trace amounts of CBD, CBDv, and THCv listed. No terpene testing info but their website suggests Terpinolene, Myrcene, and Ocimene as the top three terps.
The nose and flavor on this one are definitely interesting. There’s a nice tropical note up front with some funk underneath, on the nose. The flavor has a similar start and end with a little funk on the exhale but has a very weird aftertaste. Idk if it’s the cured Myrcene, or a combo of the terpenes, or maybe even some flavonoid doing it. I just didn’t care for it much. Both the nose and the flavor are ok potency wise but could be better, I think.
The effects were fairly nice with this one. It has an overall uplifted and chilled out experience. The head high is uplifting, slightly buzzy, with some mellow undertones that really keep it in a chill vibe. Worked pretty well for mood regulation and mental health in general. Primarily as a wake and bake strain, as I don’t need to dose too highly and overstimulate myself with the Myrcene. The body high is definitely lighter in nature. It has a a gentle buzziness to it that makes me think it could have some CBG in the mix. But just like the head high, it also has some what of a relaxed vibe about it. It worked fairly well for general pain relief but definitely fell short for the more intense muscle spasms and nerve pains. Overall, not too bad but it could be better.
