Here’s how it all started…
At 14 I was told by my high school principal that I would never amount to anything…I was destined for the streets… all because I had a pack of zig zags on me.
Now cannabis is legal in more states than it’s not, but that’s besides the point..
Being from Verona you really only have 3 options.
-you get hooked on drugs
-you knock up someone from school
– or work at giant eagle
None of that was gonna work for me.
I decided I would be a chef because you don’t really need an education to cook food… After many years in the kitchen—I thought this was it.
Until..
I caught a cooler cleaning up one night and it blew my back out. I quickly realized I needed an education.
I decided to get my GED on my 23rd birthday and enrolled into @ccac_edu where it took me 3 years to get an associates degree.
Slowly I started to see my future…I want to own my own gym!
I enrolled @pitteducation and in 2018 I graduated!
At 28–For The First Time Ever
The plans for the gym were in focus. Pittsburghs only demonstration kitchen with a gym attached. Let’s go!
The space I had in mind—— had other plans.
So I decided to show up to people’s houses instead.
Which became a blessing in disguise.
All I needed was one person to trust me.
And for the next 4 years I went hard.
-pop up events
-corporate events
-cooking at festivals
-teaching yoga classes
And then Covid.
Having an in person business is great until the word shuts down.
Time to pivot.
I’m gonna use the money I got from the Covid loan to start my virtual studio!
2 weeks later a guy slides into my ankle at a hockey game and completely shatters my leg…
18 month process
8-10 week NWB
14 screws in my leg
About to lose the business I built
Burned 20k in 5 months
Hard depression
My mission is to serve and help others—-no matter what.
I have now helped 100s of people transform their lives and we are just getting started.
Reminder: Believe in yourself. It’s the best investment you can make.
