Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, there have been nationwide shortages of hand sanitizer. So in this video I’ll show you how to make your own safe and effective hand sanitizer using household items.
There are plenty of DIY hand sanitizer guides out there, so I thought I’d make this one a bit more interesting by doing a CBD infusion into the product.
To make this recipe you will need:
Isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (70%ABV or greater)
Aloe Gel or glycol
CBD isolate powder
terpenes or essential oils (optional)
In the video I discuss some other alternatives to isoproply alcohol if you can’t find any at your local store. The alcohol content of the end product is very important! It needs to be at least 60%abv to meet CDC guidelines for sanitizing. I know a bunch of people are going to ask in the comments if they can use vodka, the answer is NO!
This is a basic method from making hand sanitizer at home. If the video is well received and people are interested in a more advanced technique to make the hand sanitizer GEL. I’ll put out a video on that as well. It’s a bit more complicated process and requires some additional tools.
I hope this video can help some people protect themselves and their friends/family from the coronavirus, and also find a novel way to incorporate CBD into their daily routine. If you have any questions about the process, post them in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer them.
Thanks for Watching!
