Wake and Bake Wednesday! Let’s bake some Fresh Biscuits for breakfast! 🌞 Cartridge is by Raw Garden Refined Live Resin Strawberry Tart ♡ Herb oil is made with coconut oil ♡
My Recipe:
2 Cups of Flour
1 & 1/4 Teaspoon Himalayan/Sea Salt (or your preference)
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Cup Buttermilk (If you don’t have buttermilk, use 1 teaspoon of white vingar added to regular milk)
1 stick of very cold Unsalted butter (I throw mine in the freezer while I’m getting everything prepped)
Preheat Oven to 425 – Mix dry ingredients 1st, then cut in your butter until crumbly(I just used a fork). Then add your milk and only mix to combine**Don’t over mix** Then, on a floured work surface, start to fold in your dough and bring it all together. fold on itself about 5 to 7 times to create flaky layers. Pat out preferably with your hands or lightly use a rolling pin for the last step to get it to be about 1 inch thick and use a cutter of your choice. I used a square 1 /12″ cutter, but I would recommend whichever you use be at least 1″. Place on baking sheet at least 1 inch apart & bake for about 15 minutes or until golden. Paint tops with butter afterward.
