Jack Stack Barbecue is one of, if not the best barbecue in Kansas City, MO. When we were there we asked about which side to get and they suggested the beans. We got that as well as the corn (check out that video as well). We were not disappointed! We asked for the recipe and they gave it to us.

RECIPE FOR JACK STACK BARBECUE BEANS
1 32 oz can pork and beans (I couldn’t find 32 oz. Use what you can find)
1 cup chopped brisket
1 cup BBQ sauce (recommend Jack Stack Original)
4 heaping Tbs (heaping 1/4 cup) brown sugar
1 Tbs chili powder
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
Mix all ingredients in a dutch oven. Over medium heat, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for 20 minutes or until desired consistency is reached. You can also bake in the oven, or on the grill.
