This weeks Guests:
Curtis & Henrique from BudTrainer
Henrique (aka H) grew up around crop cultivation in Brazil where his parents operated a successful coffee bean farm. After completing his engineering degree at the University of Waterloo, H’s love for cannabis grew from consumption to curiosity about growing his own. Once legal, he tried growing for the first time with little success. After going down the rabbit hole of bro science online, he went on to take the commercial cannabis production program at Niagara College. After a disappointing downturn in the LP world, H decided to take his knowledge about large scale cultivation to the home growing space and create BudTrainer. Prior to starting BudTrainer, Henrique was working as a marketing and sales mentor with various accelerators as well as trying entrepreneurship with a wood & glass bong start-up.
A somewhat late adopter of cannabis, Curtis began experimenting with pot in grade 12 and never looked back. While attending post-secondary school, his relationship with cannabis strengthened from a phase to a way of life…more specifically, he used it to destress and cope with depression. Curtis originally met H while attending Wilfrid Laurier University, conveniently located down the road from U of W. Despite going to school for business management and accounting, he ended up in the real estate world as a sales representative. After successfully helping buyers and sellers for 5 years as a realtor, Curtis was approached by H to join BudTrainer as a sales rep with the promise of being taught how to cultivate high quality buds at home.
BudTrainer is a Canadian start up in the gardening industry, focusing on home growing products for cannabis home-growers.
BudTrainer was created with a simple mission: to help people grow the biggest buds of their life by manipulating their hemp plants into massive bushes full of big buds, with the most user-friendly and toughest gardening products.
