Aroma – 3/5
Tangerine Dream is a pleasant smelling bud. However, this bud lacks that shower or spritz of overwhelming orange flavour and smell that I have come to expect of the strain. It does have some citrus aromas but definitely nowhere near as much as I would like to find.
Taste (Bong) – 3/5
It has a pleasant and straightforward taste but lacks the strong citrus flavour that I’ve had experienced in the past with this strain. It is there, but you’ve found trying to place that taste instead of the flood of flavour you will expect from this strain, especially with the name of Tangerine Dream.
Taste(Pipe) – 1/5
I am not a fan, and I will definitely not be rolling this into a joint or a blunt unless it is mixed off with a strong-tasting sweeter Indica like Granddaddy Purple that will help remove the very resin-tasting pull from the pipe. I lack any citrus flavour, and the overall taste from the pipe is disappointing.
High – 4/5
The relief that the high brings with it is nice and subtle. You can feel it come and settle in and just sits in the background and encourage you to tackle any of the daily tasks that are just sitting there undone, or you are going to tackle that big project you’ve been procrastinating about. This bud is for you.
Total – 11/20
What this bud lacks in flavour, it defiantly makes up for in the high that it brings! The ability to have the pain relief with the energy boost truly makes this bud a great strain, and I only wish that the flavour and aroma were up to what I was expecting because this deserves a much higher score than an eleven!
