Every one suffers from pain. There are so many different reasons of pains like injury, body stiffness, some serious ailment, organ damage but in most of the cases there is inflammation which causes body pain, back pain, joint pain, gout etc. COX-1 and COX-2 are two enzymes (cyclooxygenase enzymes). These cause inflammation which ultimately results in pain. The pain killers are actually blockers of these enzymes like aspirin, ibuprofen, diclofenac and others. Regular use of these pain killers ultimately affects badly on body and may cause indigestion, ulcer, liver and kidney damage and even heart attack. So what is alternative? Natural has produced so many foods which are rich in anti inflammatory compounds. Focusing of such foods and including in routine diet significantly lowers the inflammation and less body pains and organ damage.
