Hello! Change of schedule this week! Decided to switch up my content a little bit and start doing reviews on Mondays and a variety of random seshes and other videos on Wednesdays! So today we’re going over some Streudlez #5 shatter from Farmer G!
Streudlez #5 is one of many phenos of the Streudlez strain. Streudlez is a cross of Red Velvet x Apples n Bananas. The total Cannabinoids are coming in at just over 95% with the total THC at 79%, total CBG at 3.3%, total CBC at .78%, total THCV at .48%, total CBD at .32%, and a little CBDV at .11% to wrap up the Cannabinoids. The Terpenes on this batch come out to 3.06% with b-Caryophyllene dominating at 1.16%, followed by Limonene at .64%, and a-Pinene at .22% to make up the top three.
As far as the nose goes, it’s best smelled with the shatter very close to your nose or off of your fingertips after handling said shatter. There are peppery, creamy, citral, and piney notes on the nose. The flavor comes across a little more blended. It created this lightly fruity baked good sort of profile. There are some notes of vanilla, spice, citrus and berry fruit, it’s just not particularly strong on either the nose or flavor. Oh, and this is common with almost every single cured product that I’ve had, but it finished with a kind of a musty note that really diminished the pleasantness of the profile. Common issue I have with cured concentrates so I’m not sure what that could be.
The effects are quite nice on this one. It has a predominantly relaxing and sedative sort of high. The head high is lightly uplifting, providing a mood boost, with a strong, relaxing, and borderline sedative undertone. It really set the mood right before going to bed, for me. The kind of strain where I can take a big enough dab that my brain forgets that I have a body. And that is so fucking ideal. Obviously worked wonders for pain relief and mood/mental health. And because of both of those things, it helped my appetite, but that could be a very subjective aspect.
So, thanks for reading along! Despite the mild profile on it, I rather enjoyed this strain. The effects were phenomenal.
