Hello! Today’s review is over some cold cure live rosin from Vibe called Cherry Poppers!
Cherry Poppers is a blend of Cherry Deathstar and Astro Pop! This batch has a total Canna of 84% with a really nice spread of Cannabinoids and you can definitely tell in the effects. Total THC is at about 70% with total CBG at 2.19%, CBC at 1.36%, CBD at .4%, THCv at .4%, and CBDv at .18%. Along with that you have the total Terpenes coming out to 7.11% with d-Limonene and b-Caryophyllene dominating at 2.16% and 2.15% respectively, followed by Ocimene-1 at .57% to make up the top three. Other Terpenes such as Humulene, Myrcene, Pinene, Linalool, Bisabolol, and Nerolidol 2 exist in the profile as well. The, “Vibe,” notes read, “Eating Sour Candy in a Pine Forest.”
I can definitely see where they’re coming from with the vibe notes. It has a certain tinge to it that gives it a piney and sour candy vibe. But, to me, it really comes across strong on the lemon/lime soda notes with some slightly funky cherry notes as well. The lemon/lime soda profile comes through stronger on the nose, almost like a pine-sol kind of thing too, with lighter notes of that pungent cherry. Whereas the flavor profile is a little flipped. I think you get more of that Cherry Deathstar on the flavor than the soda notes from the Astro Pop. The inhale has a little of that lemon/lime profile while the exhale tinges with it a little but dominates with that funky cherry right until the end, where you get that sour candy or soda water finish. Very nice and nuanced profile but I do think it might be particularly polarizing.
The effects on this are phenomenal. It has an uplifting, relaxed, and euphoric head high with a relaxing and tingly body high. Very well balanced, in my opinion. It has worked wonders for all times of day, up until bed. I would prefer something different then. But otherwise it worked amazing for pain relief of all kinds and mental health stuff in general. No notes on appetite, though. A very very solid strain.
