1 box pectin
.5 tbsp xanthan gum
.5 tsp baking soda
1 cup corn syrup
1 cup sugar
3 tsp of flavoring of choice
.5 tsp citric acid

Step 1: Combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup corn syrup in a sauce pan. – 10:23
Step 2: Mix the sugar and corn syrup into an even consistency before setting the heat to medium to get the mixture to roughly 230 – 240º F. Stir occasionally. – 12:03
Step 3: While the sugar/corn syrup mixture heats, in the second sauce pan combine 3/4 cups water with the baking soda, citric acid, and pectin and mix into an even consistency. – 13:10
Step 4: Turn on the heat to medium and mix occasionally until the mixture reaches a smooth creamy texture and begins to simmer. – 14:57
Step 5: Add your decarboxylated rosin and flavoring to tase to the sugar/corn syrup mixture. – 16:15
Step 6: After the sugar/corn syrup mixture reaches 230 – 240º F and the baking soda/citric acid/pectin mixture congeals, combine the 2 mixtures in the same pot and mix thoroughly, adding the xanthan gum and food coloring to preference, until it reaches an even consistency. – 17:41
Step 7: Keep the blended mixture on low heat while you prepare your gummy molds to be filled. – 20:31
Step 8: Fill your gummy molds with the final mixture. We recommend using a squeeze bottle. – 20:51
Step 9: Cover gummy molds with a sheet of parchment to avoid contamination but don’t seal them up in a container. Let sit at room temp for 24 hours. If they don’t set, place them in freezer so they can harden. – 21:50
Step 10: After 24 hours remove the gummies from their molds and place them on parchment sheets.
Optional: If you want to make sour gummies, you can toss them in a bowl of citric acid. – 22:07
Step 11: Let the finished gummies set for roughly 2 weeks to remove any excess water before packaging. – 22:50
