Shrimp Tacos with Pickled Red Cabbage | Quick Easy Recipe | Herbistry420
I’ve been sick all week, I have the flu… but today I felt like I could muster a video so here we go! Luckily I wasn’t coughing nonstop during the video! In this video I show you a quick easy recipe for Shrimp Tacos with Pickled Red Cabbage. You do not have to use pickled cabbage, but it adds a little zest to the dish. This is super easy to make and will impress your date, your friend, your family or the stranger you just met! If you guys try the recipe, please let me know what you think!
—Recipe—
*Shrimp•
12 oz (350grams) Shrimp (I used precooked frozen, but you can use uncooked, just adjust your cooking time)
1 Tbsp Garlic (Minced) (3-4 cloves minced)
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Lime Juice (1/2 of a Lime Juiced)
1 Tsp Cumin
1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tsp Oregano
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper (if you don’t like it spicy, you can use 1/2 or exclude the chilli powder)
5-8 Corn Tortillas
*Cabbage Slaw*
1 Cup Red Cabbage (Shredded) (I used Pickled Red Cabbage we made in this video – https://youtu.be/PiOUTVnhQog) *You do not have to used pickled
1/2 Cup Carrots (Shredded)
1/2 Cup Green Onions Thinly Sliced
2 Tbsp Lime Juice (1 Lime Juiced)
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil (I used infused olive oil, this is optional)
2 Tbsp Chopped Cilantro
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Optional – I added 1/4 cup of Diced Onion
