Spain celebrated its first Women’s World Cup trophy on Sunday after an impressive display at Womens World Cup Finals in Australia, defeating England in a 1-0 Win.
The victory made Spain the first team to hold the under-17, under-20 and senior world titles at the same time. Spain is the fifth winner in nine editions of the Women’s World Cup and joined Germany as the only two nations to win both the men’s and women’s titles.

The couple who met in secondary school got married, despite their parents political divide. Former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai, on Sunday, took to social media, to share a cryptic message, just few weeks after the senate refused to confirm him as a minister due to adverse security reports .
El-Rufai reportedly withdrew his interest for the ministerial position after, the country’s national security adviser, Nuhu Ribadu who is El Rufai’s close ally, allegedly withheld security clearance leaving the senators no choice but to suspend the Former Governor. El Rufai however has remained officially silent on the senates decision.
