DESCRIPTION
Strain Name – Kush Mintz
Strain Parents – Animal Mints x Bubba Kush
Type – Cold Cure Rosin
Consistency –
A lighter tan, wetish badder. Easy to work with hot or cold, but prefer it cold as it isn’t as tacky – akin to a very thick, cold peanut butter. As a result it can be a pain to get off the dab tool when too warm.
Smell/Flavor –
This screams mint, sweet, earthy nose right out of the fridge. After sitting out for about 30 minutes though it really opens up and gets real loud – you start to get a bit of gas and cookies in the mix. The earthy kush notes really pop after warming.
Flavor is deep mint and kush, little bit of citrus and cookie sweet on the end.
The Melt –
Ran this one through all the Puffco Temps. Blue (490F) gives decently thick terp-heavy vapor. Really unlocks the mint, and kush notes. Green (510) /Red (530) saw a significant boost in vapor production, as well as more noticeable sweet and gas notes. White (550) burned the product toward the end of the session, thick vapor but not a lot of flavor.
The Ride –
This feels a lot like how you feel right after a good massage or get out of the sauna. Your body is hit with noticeable waves of relaxation, while your mind drifts off in a stoney, honey-laden euphoric ride. Very relaxing night cap or mid day strain for those seeking pain relief, increase in appetite, and relaxation. Good for chilling at home, Netflix, sunbathing at the beach or in your favorite hammock.
I wouldn’t use this during the morning as it’s fairly sedating and isn’t very productive in higher doses. May be useful for micro dosing however.
