Yes, I use cannabis as my pre-workout (sometimes) and it works wonders.
However, it might not look like what you’re imagining.
On days that I think my body needs that little extra help and I’m feeling overwhelmed, I turn to a cannabis-infused coffee or matcha with cannaoil first thing in the morning, or 1-1.5 hours before my workout.
My preferred dosage:
🌱 Gym – 20:1 CBD to THC ratio.
🌱 Cardio – Higher THC as it helps me get into the flow state because I honestly do not like cardio AT ALL.
How it helps me:
💪🏻 Mind muscle connection, it helps me be more mindful and intentional about toning my muscles during my workouts
📵Keeps me off my phone, instead I get laser-focused on the workout
💬Helps me be more kind to myself. Working out is tough and sometimes you’re not as strong as previous days. The plant helps me be kind to myself and reminds me that I’m still here and I’m smashing my CURRENT workout.
