Alexander Chevalier, MD, Medical Director, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at SunCloud Health, discusses how the modern cannabis industry has changed the way adolescents consume marijuana, the risks associated with this, and what we can do help adolescents struggling with their cannabis use. This talk highlights the risks specific to marijuana’s impact on the developing adolescent brain. It is designed for school counselors and social workers, treatment professionals and families with adolescents.

Alexander Chevalier, MD has worked across the lifespan in both acute inpatient psychiatric facilities as well as for three years in a traditional outpatient practice. He has treated a wide variety of psychiatric disorders including mood, anxiety, substance use, neurodevelopmental, and with a particular focus in the area of childhood trauma, teen depression treatment, and post-traumatic stress.
