Chef Gaye Sandoz shows us how to make a Praline Pecan Honey Baked Ham.
Recipe:
1 Smoke Ham (10-12 Pounds)
1/2 Cup Dark Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
1 bottle Honey Ham Marinade
1 Tablespoon Tony’s Original Creole Seasoning
1 Cup Pecans, Chopped
1 cup brown sugar
Directions
1. Score top of ham. Inject with marinade.
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3. Place the ham on a rack. Press topping into ham. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 12-15 minutes per pound.
4. Remove the ham from the oven and remove the foil. Baste ham with juice.
5. Let rest for 5 minutes.
