POT TV – Cannabis activist Neil Magnuson offered truth, hope and change LIVE at 4pm PT on POT.TV.
Neil Magnuson is engaged in peaceful civil disobedience, sharing his story during an active demonstration, on The THC Show. Neil’s protest has continued for over six years.
Neil is LIVE at the former location of the Healing Wave Dispensary, a store-front partner assisting the Cannabis Substitution Program. The store was forced to close, despite being supported by researchers, politicians and the community.
To provide uninterrupted emergency drug cessation service, Neil and his team provide life-saving low-barrier access to cannabis from a mobile home. The vehicle was raided by the Vancouver Police, seized, but then returned. The program was raided again. Neil, and two volunteers, have been charged related to the Cannabis Act, and are pursing a legal challenge.
Health Canada recently denied the program’s two license applications, despite the program operating successfully without complaint for over six years, and providing comprehensive license documentation. The CSP is seeking legal remedy through a judicial review.
Neil was joined at 4:20pm by Glenn Wells from Canna-Match.
The fourth annual Tubes and Dubes was held alongside the Cannabis Substitution Project. Volunteers gave away socks, joints, and hot chocolate to everyone in the neighborhood in need.
