Hello Bird & Parrot Lovers,
This week’s video is one I’ve been wanting to film for a while! It discusses how our parrots see the world!
I get my trust UV pen out and use it to get an idea of what our parrots may be seeing when they look at different things. Now it’s not 100% accurate as they will see slightly differently to this, but it is a very good easy example to show as they see in the UV spectrum.
It’s so important to keep in mind that they see the world differently to us & knowing that can help us predict problems or understand behaviours/choices they make.
There is some flashing imagery in the latter half of the video, but a warning is on screen before this pops up!
