Hello! It is Wednesday, my dudes. And that means it’s time for a strain review! Today we’re talking about White Poison cured sugar coming from Elevate.
White Poison is a cross of Durban Poison x The White. This batch has a total THC of about 76% with trace amounts of CBD, THCv, and CBDv of the listed Cannabinoids. They do not provide Terpene testing info on their concentrates but they do suggest the strain is high in Terpinolene, Ocimene, and Nerolidol on their website.
The nose on this one comes across pretty much entirely Terpinolene. It has layers of pine, floral, sweet, and spice. It gives it a very tropical sort of profile. The flavor is roughly the same, leaning heavily into Terpinolene with maybe a little creaminess that could stem from Nerolidol. Ocimene can give sort of an earthy and musky citrus thing, similar to Myrcene. So it could potentially be blending with the Terpinolene and not providing much itself. And of course, there’s also the potential that certain flavonoids could be at play. I do know this one has a bit less of that funky and weird aftertaste, so that may actually have been the heightened Myrcene in the other blending weird with the Terpinolene, for me.
As far as effects go, it is described on their website as,
“buzzy,” “glittering energetic,” and, “relaxing.” The mental side of things leans into the buzzy and uplifting side of things with a nice and relaxing undertone that really guides the overall experience. This kind of high does well for mental health stuff, for me, as far as day time medicating goes. The body high is fairly balanced with this head high. It is rather buzzy with a nice little relaxing vibe to match what’s going on with the head high. I found it to work pretty well for basic day time pain relief but definitely couldn’t quite handle some of the muscle spasms and nerve pain. Better than Monday’s review, but still not quite hitting the mark for that.
Overall, not bad at all. It definitely performed better than Jasmine Thai, that we reviewed on Monday. Thanks for reading along! I’ll be back on Friday with a dispo haul!
