Hello! Welcome to the ever so elusive Friday review! Today I’ll be going over some Oreoz live rosin from Proper Cannabis that I got from Easy Mountain! They had these four gram jars going for $220! Not too shabby for four grams of live rosin from the dispo!
So, Oreoz is a cross of Cookies n’ Cream x Secret Weapon and was originally bred by 3rd Coast Genetics. This batch has a total Cannabinoids of about 86% with the total THC at about 75.5% and the total CBD at about .12% or so. Terpenes test out to 2.93% and that’s as much as they include with the product. It doesn’t appear they have any COAs for it on their website, either. I checked Leafly and they suggest Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Myrcene are the dominant three. I think they might be a tad different on this batch. Obviously, Flavonoids can also have an impact on the flavor and nose and I do think there’s some at play here. But based on my experience with other products, I think this is definitely high in Caryophyllene but maybe has Humulene as the secondary Terpene and then Limonene and Myrcene test next.
The nose is light but has a noticeable tinge of peppery spice from the Caryophyllene followed by lighter notes of hoppy herbs, musk, and maybe a little citrus. There’s a distinct creaminess that also comes through. Which makes me believe something like Nerolidol or Linalool is also at play, as they typically show up in the creamier profiles. But as I said before, Flavonoids can also play into that, as well.
As far as effects go, I found this one is quite nice. It has a happy but very chilled out and relaxed sort of head high with a little bit of a buzz that connects it to the body high, which is a little buzzy but otherwise pretty relaxed. Not super heavy but I found it to do well for pain relief from inflammation and things like nerve spasms. And the head high worked wonderfully for a little mood elevation and regulation. And I do also think this one got my munchies going, oddly enough. So all around, very solid.
