Ingredients:
– 2/3 cup half & half
– 2 teaspoon cider vinegar
– 2 cups self-rising flour
– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/4 cup shortening (softened butter)

2 tablespoons infused butter/ oil (divided)
– 1 tablespoon melted butter
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions:
– 1: Combine cream/ milk with the vinegar set aside.
– 2: Use a fork to cut the shortening/ butter into the flour
– 3: Add the milk mixture, cheese and 1/3 of the infused butter to the flour and mix until moistened and a stiff dough forms.
– 4: Portion the biscuits into 8 greased muffin tins. Bake at 375° F for about 20 minutes.
– 5: Mix the remaining infused butter with the melted regular butter and garlic powder. Brush on top of the biscuits.
– 6: Raise heat to 425° F and bake another 5 – 6 minutes until tops are golden brown.
