This is a mockumentary radio piece covering this year’s Canna Con which took place recently in San Francisco, CA. At first, the interviewer follows a person acquiring a medical marijuana recommendation for legal pot use from an RV parked out front of the convention center and later goes on to consume marijuana while inside. The interviewer asks questions in a way to evoke interesting and sometimes hilarious answers from participating Canna Con goers; covering such topics as sex, crime, legalization, and marijuana history here in the emerald state of California. Among those interviewed in this piece are the pot pioneers Dennis Peron and Richard Eastman. Dennis Peron, of course, is the one who authored Proposition 215, which for the first time in America, legalized marijuana for medical use. 14 states have since followed. In this interview he briefly explains why marijuana should not be legalized through means of Proposition 19 which will make its way to the ballot in November. Self proclaimed “King of all Media,” Howard Stern along with his co-host, Robin Quivers are both mentioned in this piece and it’s creation was inspired by a Howard Stern Show type of ‘Blank Con’ mockumentation. While inside the convention center, the interviewer goes live on an all black owned terrestrial radio station, KPOO 89.5, to ask the question, “Who is worse?” Howard Stern or Mel Gibson. Dj. K.K., the station’s point man, later addresses Robin Quivers, asking her to “Do it for me.” He says. “This is the guy right here.”
