Leave it to Chef Kaleb – Cannabis-infused Garlic & Herb Quinoa
Rather than a common sweet treat infused with cannabis, I thought we would do something savory that is also healthy.
Cannabis-infused Garlic & Herb Quinoa
1 cup quinoa
2 1/4 cups vegetable stock
4 cloves garlic, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp mrs dash (or similar)
Tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1-2 mL cannabis tincture as desired
Rinse quinoa until water runs clear. Set aside.
Heat oil in sauce pan.
Add cannabis tincture per dosing guidelines.
Add sliced garlic and sauté until golden.
Add rinsed quinoa, salt, pepper, seasonings, and vegetable stock. Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer in medium heat approx 20 minutes, until most of liquid is absorbed.
Remove from heat and leave covered 5 min.
Fluff with fork and serve.
