Sometimes it’s hard. Mom left and things got rough. This morning was a little difficult getting Abbie ready for school by myself. She had a teeth brushing meltdown (I didn’t know that was a thing) and her gagging stim as well as SIB has gotten worse lately. Sometimes autism is hard for everyone but I have to remember that it’s always hardest for Abigail. I have to show off how awesome Abigail is doing at brushing teeth. We went to Autism Awareness Day at Conner’s A-maize-ing Acres. Abbie got mad at the air cannon for scaring her and nearly kissed by a cow. The farm is a great place for sensory play and autism friendly activities. source
