Oceanside Mission where Zorro was filmed

Jeff will take you on a visit to the Mission San Luis Rey De Francia in Oceanside (Southern California) which was established in 1798 and which was a filming location for episodes of Zorro TV show in the late 1950s featuring Guy Williams. This video also goes into the churchyard cemetery. The mission is the “King of the Missions” in California and was number 18 out of 21 missions. Believe it or not, the oldest pepper tree in California is growing here and was planted in 1830. The seeds were brought in by a sailor from Peru. source
